Whatsapp has a New Windows and OS X Desktop App

It syncs conversations and messages from your phone just like the web app. WhatsApp users can now keep in touch with their PC since they launched a Windows and Mac desktop app.

Whatsapp for Desktop app news was leaked early after it was detected by the Twitter account WABetaInfo. The desktop software is similar to the WhatsApp Web according to the company blog posts. It’s supposed to be your phone’s extension, like sync conversations and texts.

WhatsApp avoided the App Store from either platform and has decided to download its desktop version directly, so long as you run Windows 8 (or newer) or OS X 10.9 (or newer).
