Summer 2020 is the time for F9, the ninth chapter in the saga. Fast 9 set for release in May 22, 2020. Fast & Furious 7 is actually the eighth-largest earning movie of $1,51 billion. F7 and F8 both reached the 1 billion dollars mark worldwide.
The main cast are back for the F9, Vin Diesel as Dom, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges as Tej and Tyrese Gibson as Roman. Jordana Brewster’s return is a bigger surprise as Dom’s sister Mia. At the end of Furious 7, Brewster’s character left the series with Brian.

In F9, John Cena plays the character of badass role in the 9th film and he proved to be none other than Dom’s formerly unknown Jacob brother. The rest of the Fast and Furious crew are back together with several new faces. Han, who died in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift is also back.
Charlize Theron has been confirmed as Cipher, Helen Mirren as Shaw’s mother Magdalene, Finn Cole, Cardi B, Anna Sawai, Vinnie Bennett and Michael Rooker.
The director is Justin Lin, and in June 2019 production began. The comeback of Lin to the franchise is exciting. Justin Lin has previously directed Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6. Justin Lin is a Taiwanese-American film director whose films have grossed $2 billion worldwide.
